Where is Padco Engineering located?
Padco Engineering is located at 2/12 Sharnet Circuit, Pakenham VIC 3810. We serve customers across Victoria and Australia.
What machining services do you offer?
We offer CNC turning, CNC milling, manual turning, manual milling, and CNC saw cutting. We handle work from single-piece prototypes through to full production runs.
What materials do you machine?
We machine aluminium (6061, 7075, cast), stainless steel (304, 316), carbon and alloy steels (mild steel, 4140), brass, bronze, and engineering plastics (Delrin, nylon). Contact us if you have a material not listed.
How do I get a quote?
Send your drawings to sales@padcoengineering.com.au or use the quote request form on this site. We accept STEP, IGES, DXF, PDF, and sketches. We aim to respond within one business day with a price and lead time.
What file formats do you accept for drawings?
We accept STEP (.stp), IGES (.igs), DXF (.dxf), PDF, and hand sketches. If you have a different format, contact us and we'll work it out.
How long does a typical job take?
Lead time depends on the job and current workload. We'll give you a realistic lead time with your quote. We're transparent — if something will take longer, we'll tell you upfront.
Do you do one-off prototype work?
Yes. We regularly machine single-piece prototypes and small runs. Our manual and CNC equipment lets us take on jobbing work as well as production runs.
