What we do

Our capabilities

Padco runs a mix of CNC and manual machines under one roof, with CNC saw cutting and bar feeders to handle raw stock through to finished part. The envelopes below cover most jobs we take on — if your part is borderline, send a drawing and we'll tell you straight.

Materials we work with

Material Grades Notes
Aluminium 6061-T6, 7075-T6, cast Lightweight, corrosion-resistant. Most common material.
Stainless steel 304, 316, 17-4 PH Corrosion-resistant. Food, marine, medical environments.
Carbon & alloy steel Mild steel, 4140 High strength. Shafts, tooling, structural components.
Brass 360, 385 Free-machining. Fittings, valves, decorative components.
Bronze 932, 954 Bearing and bushing material. Wear-resistant.
Engineering plastics Delrin (POM), Nylon, UHMWPE Low friction, non-metallic. Wear parts, guides, jigs.

Drawing calls a material we haven't listed? Ask — chances are we've cut it.

And what we don't do

We're a machining shop, not a foundry or a fabrication shop. We don't pour castings, do sheet metal forming or welding, or run plating or heat treatment in-house — but we work with trusted local suppliers when a job needs those steps.
